OFFICIAL Card - Poland
This card from Joanna in Pita, Poland took 89 days to travel to me and arrived last August. It shows night views of the city of Poznan, where she told me she was going to study in the Fall. The top left picture is of the Town Hall.
I think you are right - I checked the Polish Postal service site and if you scroll down about 3/4 of the very long page it takes you to this issue "Smiles of the World" by a Polish Photographer.

Might not be the whole story but it makes a bit more sense.
That stamp is very interesting. That woman looks S. american. I wonder what the story is behind the stamp?
